The Companion Series features a collection
of nutritional formulations developed my Dr. Steven and Kenneth Bock which
support and balance individual or particular functions in the human body.
Inflammation
companion supports the body’s attempt at resolving inflammation.
This inflammation may be in the joints (as in
arthritis), ligaments, tendons, intestines (as in inflammatory bowel disease), or
any other place in the body.
The
conventional method of treating inflammation is with the use of drugs called
anti-inflammatory agents such as celebrex, vioxx (which was pulled off the market
for cardiac side effects), Advil, Aleve, and other medications called “non-steriodals”.
Many of these have side effects that include
stomach upset.
Supporting the body’s own
anti-inflammatory mechanisms is one way of avoiding the use of potent drugs.
Prostate
companion has a combination of nutrients and herbs that help balance and
enhance prostate function.
The joint
companion, eye companion, and other products in the companion series,
similarly, contain various vitamins, nutrients, and herbs that have been shown
to support and be a “companion” to that particular body function.
