From “Healing the New Childhood Epidemics – Autism, ADHD, Asthma and
Allergies,” by Kenneth Bock, M.D., and Cameron Stauth, (Random House
2007).
“It’s very common for kids with 4-A disorders - - particularly those
with asthma - - to have reactions to various industrial chemicals, as
well as to environmental allergens, such as dust, mold, pollen, animal
dander, and dust mites. These reactions, which are generally inhalant
reactions, are also relatively more common among kids with multiple or
severe food reactions, because inhalant reactions and food reactions
tend to reinforce one another. Sometimes it’s very difficult to
overcome food reactions if these inhalant reactions are still present.
These environmental rand chemical reactions can consist of IgE
allergies, IgG sensitivities, or intolerances. They can significantly
impact the symptomatology of 4_A children, and can impede healing, if
they are not addressed.”
