Steven
Bock, M.D., has been practicing complementary and progressive
medicine for over 20 years. He attended New York Medical
College and received his M.D. in 1971 and was Board Certified
in Family Practice in 1977. A Founder and Co-Director of
the Rhinebeck Health Center in Rhinebeck, NY and The Center
for Progressive Medicine in Albany, NY. Dr. Bock, is certified
in Medical Acupuncture, and is an instructor at Albany Medical
College. He is a Diplomat of the American College of Family
Practice, a Diplomat of the American Academy of acupuncture,
a Diplomat of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine,
and a Board Member of the Foundation for Advancement of Innovative
Medicine (FAIM).
Dr. Bocks medical practice merges traditional medicine
with alternative and complementary medicine, combining the
modalities of acupuncture, functional and nutritional medicine,
homeopathy, herbal medicine and environmental medicine into
an integrated medical model for optimal wellness. "Stay
Young the Melatonin Way" was Dr. Bocks first book
published in 1995 by Dutton. He has co-authored two books with
his brother Kenneth Bock, M.D.:"Natural
Relief for your Childs Asthma", published in 1999
by Harper Collins and The Germ Survival Guide, published by McGraw Hill in 2003.
Dr. Bock has written for local and national
newspapers, and lectured locally and nationally. He has appeared
on local and national media including the ABC news show,
20/20 and various other radio and TV programs.
